I saw loads of gifs of ‘Hebi Ni Piasu’ or ‘Snakes and Earrings’ yesterday and it looked interesting so I decided to watch it today.

[Has anybody else watched it, because i’d be interested to know what you thought? ]

I had a vague idea of what it was about, but even after watching I can’t really understand the hell was going on. It wasn’t scary in any way, just a bit odd and occasionally a little disgusting with a few violent sex scenes thrown in for good measure. I had no idea what the characters were actually feeling, especially Lui ~ she just appeared completely emotionless. It was probably intended but it meant i’m still sitting here trying to work out what actually happened.

Saying that, I did enjoy it in an odd kind of way. I’d probably watch it again.

[spoilers] I also thought it was just a little weird that she continued to talk to/be friendly with/have sex with the other guy, even though she knew that he had killed her boyfriend, and he had said that killing her would turn him on before asking if he could have sex with her dead body. Furthermore she didn’t seem fussed by it at all. Is this normal?
